During a routine patrol on Wednesday night, Boston’s Youth Violence Strike Force apprehended Colbert Eden, 37, after spotting his vehicle speeding and weaving dangerously through traffic on Blue Hill Avenue. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers observed suspicious behavior, including Eden placing a black mask over his head, which prompted a further investigation.
After a pat frisk revealed two knives, officers searched the car and discovered an Arminius HW7 firearm loaded with eight rounds. Eden faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, and is scheduled for arraignment in Dorchester District Court.
