The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. as an unknown offender entered the dealership located on South Western Avenue and opened fire, striking the man multiple times while the woman suffered a graze wound to her arm.
Police found nearly two dozen evidence markers at the scene, indicating the severity of the altercation and raising questions about public safety in busy commercial areas. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive their injuries, but the motive behind the shooting and the relationship between the victims remains unclear as the investigation continues without any arrests made.
