A Cicero man faces multiple felony charges following his arrest for illegally possessing firearms and high-capacity magazines after a DWI stop on February 15. Police discovered a Glock handgun and high-capacity magazines in George Leroy’s vehicle, which was found disabled in a snowbank.
Subsequent searches revealed a loaded assault rifle and a staggering 80 additional high-capacity magazines at his residence, along with other illegal firearms and silencers. Leroy is charged with several counts of criminal possession of weapons, including felonies related to large-capacity magazines and assault firearms, highlighting significant concerns regarding illegal firearm ownership in the area.
