A Tennessee woman is recovering from stab wounds after a neighbor intervenes and shoots her attacker, identified as 26-year-old Julian Porter. The incident unfolded Wednesday afternoon on Lost Hollow Drive when police were alerted to a active stabbing in progress, prompting immediate responses from emergency services.
Despite the neighbor’s attempts to physically stop Porter, he resorted to using his firearm after witnessing the assault. Both the victim and Porter were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where the woman is believed to make a full recovery, while Porter succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. Authorities are continuing their investigation, with no charges currently filed against the neighbor involved.
