A man is dead following a shooting this morning near Interstate 15 and Cheyenne Avenue in North Las Vegas. Authorities report that 28-year-old Joseph De Luna has been arrested on an open murder charge after the incident, which left the victim deceased inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police responded to a call around 7:16 a.m. and found De Luna still at the scene. Investigators believe the shooting occurred while both individuals were in the vehicle together. The identity of the deceased will be confirmed by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
