A Baltimore man, Jayron Butler, 32, is now wanted by federal agents for his involvement in an armed robbery scheme alongside an accomplice. The duo allegedly targeted a male victim in August 2024, with the female accomplice luring the victim into a meeting before Butler approached his vehicle, threatened him with a knife, and demanded cash. The assailants made off with $200 from the victim’s Cash App and his cell phone, leaving him injured but with non-life-threatening wounds.
This incident is not Butler’s first brush with the law; he is also wanted for an unrelated home invasion and assault that occurred in November 2023. Following the armed robbery, authorities issued a warrant for his arrest, causing complications with his existing legal troubles. As the U.S. Marshals Service joins the search for Butler, who is approximately 5’6″ and 150 lbs, any information about his whereabouts is crucial for law enforcement.
