Peekskill Man Arrested During Routine Traffic Stop

A routine traffic stop in Peekskill results in the arrest of Justin Arjani on multiple weapons charges after police discover two loaded handguns in his vehicle. Officer Mark Frascello initiated the stop on Park Street around 4:37 p.m. due to Arjani’s aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and learned he had two active warrants from the City of Peekskill court.

During an inventory search of Arjani’s car, officers recovered two loaded 9mm Taurus GX4 pistols along with high-capacity magazines. He now faces two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree and two counts in the 3rd degree, both felonies. Arjani remains in custody, awaiting his arraignment.
