Investigation Underway After Armed Robbery in Sylacauga

Talladega County Sheriff’s Deputies are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Oak Street in Sylacauga on Sunday evening. The incident was reported around 5:15 p.m. when deputies and Sylacauga Police Officers responded to a call about a physical altercation involving multiple firearms at a residence in the 1000 block.

Upon arrival, officers found that several vehicles had fled the scene in various directions, raising concerns about public safety and the potential for ongoing threats. The Sheriff’s Office, under the leadership of Captain Al Crow, emphasizes the need for community awareness and encourages any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward as efforts to resolve the case continue.
