In a disturbing incident early Tuesday, at least five Tesla vehicles at a collision center in Las Vegas are set on fire and shot at in what police describe as a “targeted attack.” Two of the vehicles were completely engulfed in flames, with investigators finding evidence of arson, including the use of Molotov cocktails, and the word “RESIST” spray-painted on the facility’s doors.
The act comes amid a broader wave of violence and vandalism targeting Tesla facilities across the nation, reportedly in response to CEO Elon Musk’s involvement in politically charged initiatives. Musk, labeling the incident as an act of “terrorism,” has condemned the rampant violence against the company’s properties that include related acts such as vandalism and arson at multiple sites.
