Greenville Man Arrested in Traffic Stop for Weapons and Drugs

A routine traffic stop in Pitt County results in the arrest of 21-year-old Brendon K. Wilder on charges of possessing a concealed weapon and drugs. Deputy officers observed suspicious behavior while patrolling Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway, leading them to stop Wilder, who was found without a valid driver’s license and with a loaded .45 caliber handgun concealed under his seat.

During a search, authorities also seized approximately 1 gram of marijuana and a dab pen from the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that another gram of marijuana was found on Wilder while he was at the Pitt County Detention Center. He now faces multiple charges, including felony possession of a controlled substance, while a juvenile passenger is charged via petition for marijuana possession.
