Peel police report a series of proactive traffic stops in Mississauga have resulted in the seizure of three loaded handguns in less than 24 hours. The first arrest occurred on March 22 when officers discovered a loaded SIG P365 during a stop near Central Parkway and Confederation Parkway, leading to the charges against a 23-year-old Windsor man who was already under conditions to remain at home.
Subsequent traffic stops yielded a loaded Glock 43X and a Glock 19, resulting in further charges against two youths, aged 16 and 17, as well as a 32-year-old Mississauga man.
