Police Seek Suspect in Gun Threat Against Officer

Albuquerque Police and Crime Stoppers are actively searching for a man accused of threatening a Parking Enforcement officer with a firearm in downtown Albuquerque. The incident occurred near 601 Central Ave. NW, where the suspect allegedly approached the officer, threw his phone, retrieved a gun from his Chevrolet pickup truck, and pointed it at the officer before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male around 35 years old, approximately 5’9″ tall, with red hair, wearing a muscle shirt and dark blue pants. He drove away in a Chevrolet pickup truck displaying an Indiana license plate, “TK8450QF.” Authorities urge anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 505-843-7867 or online.
