Laredo Felon Faces Charges for Illegal Firearm Possession

Raymond Gutierrez, a Laredo felon, is indicted on two counts of illegal firearm possession in connection with several violent altercations. Details from court documents reveal that Gutierrez, already facing a lengthy criminal history, could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Authorities were alerted to Gutierrez’s illegal activities after receiving reports of him using narcotics and displaying weapons at a ranch. His recent history includes incidents involving gunfire during confrontations, notably one occasion where he allegedly shot a man and another where he brandished firearms to intimidate guests at his home. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) obtained photographic evidence of Gutierrez firing guns, underscoring the severity of his current charges.
