Two Arrested in Late-Night Sacramento Armed Robbery

In South Sacramento, police arrest two individuals following an armed robbery that occurred just before midnight on February 19. The victim, having been followed from work, was confronted at his driveway by a man wielding a handgun who demanded his wallet, leading to a quick investigation by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Identified as 23-year-old Josiah Branner and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Sabrina Jones, authorities issued arrest warrants after the victim’s credit cards were used fraudulently shortly after the incident. Branner is currently held on $100,000 bail, awaiting a court appearance, while Jones has been released on $50,000 bail with her court date set for April 4.
