On April 8, officers from the Violent Crime Action Team cited 18-year-old Que’vion Patton for possessing a concealed gun during a consensual encounter, while 21-year-old Adrian Hinnant was arrested on an outstanding warrant found to also be carrying a concealed firearm. These actions underscore a proactive approach by local authorities to mitigate violent crime in Kinston.
