Zeggeree Adonnus White, now 20, has been sentenced to life in prison for shooting at an unmarked Fort Pierce Police vehicle during an incident in February 2022. White, then 17, fired five to six rounds at the vehicle while attempting to flee from police, resulting in multiple serious charges including attempted murder. Authorities noted the violent nature of his actions as he was already involved in the juvenile justice system prior to this incident.
In addition to this shooting, White faces a first-degree murder charge connected to the fatal shooting of Vincent Rashawn Green Jr. in November 2022. The overlapping cases underscore the severe implications of gun violence in communities and the criminal trajectories of young offenders.
