Newport News Shooting Victim Identified as Barney Kittles Jr.

Newport News police have identified 39-year-old Barney Kittles Jr. as the victim of a shooting that occurred on Friday afternoon in the 800 block of 35th Street. Kittles Jr., a resident of Hampton, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local medical facility where he later succumbed to his wounds.
