Teens Arrested After Attempted Armed Robbery in Tulsa

Authorities in Tulsa have arrested two teenagers, ages 18 and 15, following an attempted armed robbery that occurred on Saturday night near 21st Street and Garnett Road. The victim reported that the suspects approached her, accused her of speaking English, and demanded her belongings while claiming they had a gun.

Thanks to the rapid response of the Tulsa Police Department’s Real Time Information Center, officers were able to track the suspects via surveillance footage as they entered a nearby convenience store shortly after the incident. This technology played a crucial role in their swift apprehension, highlighting the effectiveness of real-time crime tracking in ensuring public safety.
