Authorities in Oconee County are searching for a man who allegedly carried out an armed robbery at a McDonald’s on Sandifer Boulevard in Seneca early Monday morning. At approximately 4:25 a.m., a man entered the restaurant, directed employees to the floor, and made off with cash, leading deputies to believe he was armed.
Deputies report the suspect conveyed the impression of having a firearm by holding his hand beneath his jacket. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has since released a photo of the person of interest as they urge anyone with information, or who was in the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.
