Danville Police Seek Suspect in Drug Store Robbery

Danville police are actively searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that took place at Bluegrass Drug Store on Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. when the suspect brandished a handgun and managed to steal medications before fleeing the scene in a red Toyota Camry or Corolla, which was reported without a license plate.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the robbery. In response to the incident, nearby Boyle County Schools implemented a “soft lockdown” as a precautionary measure. Police are urging anyone with information on the suspect or the vehicle to contact the Danville 911 Center at 859-238-1220.
