A 17-year-old boy from Adams County, Ayden Seeley-Siegert, now faces 12 felony charges for possessing and manufacturing illegal firearm components. During a search of his home, law enforcement uncovered a 3D printer, parts to convert weapons into fully automatic firearms, and unserialized 3D-printed handguns, highlighting concerns over the rising issue of unregulated firearm modifications.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation that included surveillance of a controlled transfer of illegal weapon parts before executing a search warrant. In addition to firearms-related items, authorities found ammunition and marijuana paraphernalia in Seeley-Siegert’s residence. The investigation remains ongoing, with the possibility of further charges against the teenager.
