The newly launched Disarmory Ministries in Oakland County provides a platform for residents to safely dispose of unwanted firearms through regular buyback events. Operating at Greenfield Presbyterian Church every Friday and Saturday, the program offers incentives such as gift cards worth up to $300 in exchange for firearms, aiming to mitigate risks associated with gun ownership.

Since its inception, the initiative has already helped dispose of 650 firearms, indicating a growing response to community safety concerns.
