A 52-year-old Bellevue man has been arrested and charged with a hate crime after allegedly threatening a woman and two teenage boys with a gun during a road rage incident. The confrontation escalated after a near-miss crash led the suspect to follow the victims to a gas station, where he reportedly shouted racial slurs and brandished his firearm, ultimately forcing them to seek shelter inside.
The Bellevue Police Department responded to multiple emergency calls about the disturbance that occurred around 10 a.m. on Factoria Boulevard. Officers detained the suspect shortly after, capturing critical evidence, including surveillance footage of the incident. He is currently being held in King County Jail on charges of harassment with threats to kill and a hate crime offense, underscoring the severity of the attack.
