Police in Northeast Portland arrest nine individuals during a raid on a home overtaken by squatters, who had allegedly created a “significant source of disruption” in the area. While executing a search warrant, officers discovered 13 occupants, including a person posing as the landlord and collecting rent from others.

This property has reportedly drawn a high volume of complaints from neighbors over the past year, prompting this police intervention. Charges against the suspects range from drug possession to criminal trespassing.
