Police Search for Shooter in Staten Island Pellet Gun Attack

The NYPD is investigating an incident in which a man allegedly fired a pellet gun at a woman holding her two-month-old baby on Staten Island. The attack occurred on May 2 around 7 p.m. while the woman was on Jerome Avenue in South Beach, resulting in a minor injury to her back.

Authorities are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, who fled the scene in a silver sedan, heading westbound on Evergreen Avenue. Thankfully, the victim declined medical attention and is reported to be in stable condition. Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline, ensuring tips remain confidential.
