Two men, Elcio Antonio Depadua, 22, and Jomar Allen Edington, 29, are in custody after an armed robbery incident that led to a multi-state police chase. The ordeal began in Vancouver, Washington, when a victim reported being coerced into theft at gunpoint by the suspects, who allegedly assaulted him and directed him to steal from a Safeway store.
The police pursuit escalated after deputies spotted the suspects fleeing in a vehicle without license plates. The chase extended into Portland and concluded when the car crashed into a residential property. Authorities recovered a handgun matching the victim’s description at the scene, and both men are now facing felony charges in Multnomah County while awaiting extradition to Clark County.
