Two Liverpool High School students are facing multiple serious charges in connection with an armed robbery investigation. The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 17-year-old male allegedly stole two handguns from a 16-year-old during a planned exchange for firearms on May 5 in the Town of Clay.
Authorities executed a search warrant at the 17-year-old’s home, where they recovered a 9mm ghost gun and a .22 caliber assault-style handgun. Both students have been taken into custody and are now remanded to a juvenile detention center, facing charges ranging from robbery and criminal possession of weapons to possession of stolen property.
