The robberies culminated in dangerous situations for victims, including a dramatic incident where a store employee managed to lock herself in a staffing office to call for help while being threatened at gunpoint. Sanders’ co-defendant was sentenced to 25 years in prison last week, with Sanders’ sentencing expected to follow soon.
