The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store where two suspects used face paint to disguise their identities. On May 12, around 5 p.m., a Hispanic man and a white woman handed a note to the store attendant demanding cash and claimed to be armed during the incident on Hancock Avenue, prompting a swift police response.
After the robbery, the suspects fled the scene in a tan or gold minivan, taking an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during this concerning event, which highlights the ongoing public safety challenges in the area. The CSPD urges anyone with information about the suspects to come forward to assist in the investigation.
