A 25-year-old man from Brampton, Charandeep Singh, faces multiple charges after police discovered two handguns during an investigation into a stolen vehicle. The incident unfolded on May 5 when Peel Regional Police tracked down a vehicle reported stolen in the area of Sandalwood Parkway East and Airport Road.
Upon arresting Singh, officers recovered a .40 calibre handgun and a 9mm handgun, along with ammunition and extended magazines. He has been charged with unauthorized possession of firearms and other serious offences, highlighting the ongoing concerns about gun violence and vehicle theft in the region.
