Three Arrested in Okaloosa County Kidnapping Case

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals in connection with a violent armed robbery and kidnapping incident that occurred early Monday morning in Fort Walton Beach. The suspects, identified as 27-year-old Joe Trejo, 30-year-old Lennys Cotto, and a 17-year-old named Kaylynn Corsi, reportedly assaulted a resident, using pepper spray and physical violence, before forcing him into a vehicle.

The victim managed to escape and sought help at a nearby convenience store, prompting deputies to locate and arrest the suspects as they returned to the scene. All three face serious charges, including armed burglary and kidnapping, with Corsi also charged for providing false information to law enforcement. This incident highlights rising concerns about safety in the area as authorities continue to investigate the case.
