The Saguache County Sheriff’s Office has dismantled a large illegal marijuana cultivation and drug distribution operation in Southern Colorado, following leads from a recent theft of hunting equipment. During the raid, deputies seized over 114 pounds of processed marijuana and more than 600 grams of potent narcotics, including 425 pills of fentanyl, valued at approximately $164,800.
In addition to the narcotics, law enforcement discovered a semi-trailer packed with over $100,000 in marijuana extraction equipment and found components of a “ghost gun.” The coordinated effort involved multiple agencies, highlighting the community’s role in gathering intelligence that led to this significant bust.
