Three students from Center Line High School are charged with gun-related offenses after a firearm was discovered on campus on May 13. The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office has charged one student with multiple felonies, including receiving and concealing a weapon, while two others face lesser charges such as lying to a peace officer and possessing a weapon in a school zone.
Following a preliminary hearing on May 14, one of the students was denied bond and ordered to remain in juvenile detention, with a pretrial scheduled for May 21. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about school safety and the measures in place to prevent weapons from entering educational environments in the area.
