Nashville police have arrested 60-year-old Michael Davenport, who is linked to multiple armed robberies throughout the city, including a recent incident at a Boost Mobile store. Authorities report that during this robbery, Davenport allegedly brandished a knife and made off with cash from the register, prompting an extensive investigation by the Robbery Unit.
In addition to the Boost Mobile heist, detectives uncovered confessions from Davenport regarding two other robberies carried out with a knife just days earlier at a Dollar General and Love Bound on Murfreesboro Pike. With a prior robbery conviction in 2020, Davenport’s arrest has raised concerns over repeat offenses and public safety in Nashville.
