Man Arrested for Shooting on SEPTA Bus in Philadelphia

A 52-year-old man, Hakim Bryant, is arrested and facing numerous felony charges after allegedly opening fire on a crowded SEPTA bus in Brewerytown, Philadelphia. The incident, which occurred over the weekend, left four people injured, including three teenagers and an adult woman, raising significant concerns about public safety.

Authorities report that Bryant targeted passengers indiscriminately, firing at a total of six individuals, though only four sustained injuries. With charges including 10 counts of attempted murder and multiple counts of aggravated assault, the District Attorney’s Office emphasizes the serious nature of his actions. The legal proceedings are being supported by the Gun Violence Task Force, highlighting the ongoing efforts to combat gun violence in the region.
