Ashante Linelli-Ramon Mcafee reportedly opened fire with an AR-15-style rifle inside the woman’s home before fleeing in a white Ford F-150 truck, prompting a swift police response that led to his arrest hours later in Detroit.
This shooting marks a troubling trend in the area, as it is the second incident involving an enraged ex-boyfriend in recent weeks. Police Chief Ahmed Hader indicated that both incidents are part of a concerning pattern, with the previous case involving a murder-suicide occurring less than a mile from the latest shooting scene.
