Police report that two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, are hospitalized after being shot in Southeast Baltimore late Monday night. Officers responded to the scene on South Macon Street shortly after 7:40 p.m., where both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are currently in stable condition at a local hospital.
This incident adds to the troubling trend of gun violence involving young people in Baltimore, where at least 524 people have been shot this year alone, including 36 individuals aged 14 to 17.
