TPD Seeks Suspect in Vehicle Armed Robbery Incident

Toledo Police are actively searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred late Monday night at the KT Mart located on Airport Highway. The incident took place around 10:40 p.m., when a 32-year-old man returned to his vehicle, which he had left running and unlocked. He was approached by an unknown Black man armed with a black pistol featuring a red laser, who commanded him not to move before stealing the vehicle.

This alarming event raises concerns about safety in local store parking lots, especially as the suspect managed to escape with the victim’s vehicle in front of witnesses. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect or the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111, highlighting the community’s role in helping to resolve such crimes.
