Concord police have released body-camera and surveillance footage from a recent shooting incident involving a man who allegedly pointed a gun at officers during a chase. The confrontation on April 3 involved Eric Foreman, 37, who was charged with attempted murder and assault on a peace officer following a traffic stop that escalated into gunfire, although no injuries were reported.
The video captures intense moments, showing Foreman reaching for what appeared to be a gun at his ankle and subsequently pointing it at officers before they fired nine shots. Remarkably, police later found a loaded FN Five-seveN pistol in Foreman’s possession which he reportedly had not fired during the altercation. The footage is now critical evidence as investigators seek clarity on this second police shooting in two months.
