Former Kempsville High School physical education teacher Joseph Molineaux, 59, is arrested and facing serious charges including possession of child pornography and making threats against school administrators. After showing up at the school with knives and a hatchet in his car, Molineaux allegedly sent a threatening text to his mother about harming school staff, stating he was “grounds” by his dog from committing violence.
In addition to the threatening behavior, police discovered multiple loaded assault rifles and child porn on Molineaux’s property. Court records reveal some of the disturbing images were found in scrapbooks at his home. With over 23 years in education, Molineaux’s case raises significant questions about safety protocols in schools and how such behavior went unnoticed during his tenure. His next court appearance is set for July 24.
