Armed Robbery at LaGrange Gas Station

On May 27, 2025, officers from the LaGrange Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the Hop In gas station located at 1324 Hogansville Road. The store clerk reported that a white male, wearing a face covering and gloves, entered the store, deployed pepper spray on the clerk, and then accessed the cash register to take the night deposit bank bag.

Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene on foot toward Hogansville. The police have launched an ongoing investigation, led by the Criminal Investigation Division, and are urging anyone with pertinent information to contact Detective Montondo at 706-883-2639. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Troup County CrimeStoppers at 706-812-1000.
