Wife of Accused Cop Shooter Faces Perjury Charge

Patrice Mason, 36, has been charged with perjury after allegedly lying during a court hearing about her involvement in her husband’s shooting of St. Johnsbury Police Capt. Jason Gray last December. During her court appearance on December 11, police say Mason provided false information related to the case against her husband, Scott Mason, who is currently in jail facing serious charges.

This new development adds another layer to the ongoing investigation surrounding the shooting, which has drawn significant public attention. As authorities continue to unravel the details of the case, the implications of her alleged actions raise questions about the extent of her involvement and the potential legal consequences she now faces.
