Tucson Police Arrest 17-Year-Old with Illegal Firearms

A 17-year-old convicted felon has been arrested by Tucson police for possessing multiple illegal firearms, including several modified with machine gun conversion devices known as “switches.” The arrest came after detectives from the Tucson Police Department’s Crime Gun Intelligence Unit identified the teenager, who had posted numerous online photos displaying himself with the guns.

So far, law enforcement has identified at least 15 firearms linked to this individual, highlighting ongoing concerns about gun violence and the illegal arms trade within the community. This incident underscores the police department’s commitment to reducing gun-related crime and enhancing public safety in Tucson.
