Winston-Salem police have arrested a 21-year-old man, Caleb Hutchins, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a BP station on Jonestown Road on May 30. Officers responded to a 911 call shortly after 8 p.m. when a suspect allegedly entered the store with a firearm, demanding cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Following an investigation by the Major Crimes Unit, authorities executed a search warrant in Yadkin County, leading to Hutchins’ arrest. He now faces felony charges for robbery with a dangerous weapon, with a bond set at $25,000.
