A 39-year-old Sioux Falls man is hospitalized after being shot in the leg during an altercation in an alleyway on 2nd Street Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 9:30 AM, when a dispute broke out between two men and a woman, all of whom were known to each other, according to police spokesman Sam Clemens.
As law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the argument, they are actively searching for the individual who fired the gun. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, raising community concerns over violence in the area.
