Thomas Lefthandbull, 27, has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on January 13 at Riverside Auto in Sioux City. According to police reports, Lefthandbull, who was apprehended after a chase in Sioux Falls, faces charges of first-degree robbery and theft following a dramatic incident where he allegedly brandished a firearm while attempting to steal a vehicle from the lot.
During their investigation, law enforcement linked Lefthandbull to the robbery through security footage from a nearby store. His partner in the crime, 23-year-old Aaron McBride, had previously been detained, but a warrant for his arrest was issued after he failed to check in with parole officers.
