The operation stems from an investigation initiated by anonymous tips regarding Linnie Allen Jones, 33, suspected of selling cocaine and marijuana, leading to the discovery of weapons including two handguns and an M4-style rifle alongside approximately 61 grams of amphetamines and various forms of THC.
The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office has charged Jones with multiple offenses, including trafficking amphetamines and possession with intent to deliver various controlled substances. Currently, he is held on a secured bond of $30,000. This operation underscores ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crime in the region, raising concerns over safety and community health in Hoke County.
