A 21-year-old man, Nicholas Haddad, is arrested for allegedly pointing a replica Glock Airsoft gun at a woman while driving at Duxbury Beach last week. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when the woman reported Haddad had threatened her as he drove away, prompting police to conduct a high-risk traffic stop.
Upon arrest, officers discovered that Haddad’s Airsoft weapon was nearly indistinguishable from a real firearm, equipped with Glock markings. Authorities emphasized the dangers of such replicas, warning that they can quickly escalate tense situations, especially if brandished near armed individuals or law enforcement.
