Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery at an Exxon station on Rockville Pike that occurred on June 5. Surveillance photos captured the suspect, who reportedly displayed a gun and threatened an employee for cash after moving behind the counter.
The suspect, described as a 40-year-old Black male standing between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, wore a light-colored scarf, a black coat, blue jeans, and tan boots during the incident. Law enforcement officials have offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest, urging anyone with knowledge to reach out anonymously via Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
