Two 19-year-old men have been arrested and face numerous charges, including several hate crimes, for allegedly using a dating app to lure victims to a Rockland County park where they were then robbed at gunpoint. The Ramapo Police Department’s investigation revealed a troubling pattern of intimidation and armed robberies, with the suspects targeting their victims late at night or in the early morning hours.
Police arrested the men after uncovering evidence linking them to multiple incidents, which involved displaying weapons and physically assaulting victims. Both suspects are currently held on bail amounts of $50,000 cash or higher, while authorities believe there may be additional victims who have not yet reported their experiences. Anyone with further information is encouraged to reach out to police detectives.
